Poll workers over the age of 18 must either be registered voters in California or be lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the U.S. and otherwise eligible to register to vote except for their lack of U.S. citizenship.
Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.
Minimum Age: 16-year-old students who are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted for U.S. permanent residence.
You must complete training to be a poll worker.
While Colusa County conducts elections by mail, it still hires a limited number of workers for Election Day. Please contact election officials, listed above, for additional information.
