Poll Worker Start Time:

Poll Worker End Time:
8:30 to 9:00 PM (You must work the full day)
Compensation:
$10 per hour on Election Day. $25 flat rate for training.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Yell County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: High school students can serve as election page volunteers. Contact the County Board of Election Commissioners for additional information.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 hours.

Individuals who are comfortable using computers and tablets are strongly encouraged to apply.

Bilingual English-Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply. Bilingual individuals who speak English and any other language are encouraged to apply.
