8:30 PM to 10:00 PM (Part-day shifts are available.)
Compensation:
$14 to $16 per hour for Election Day and training.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Washington County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: High school students can serve as election page volunteers. Contact the County Board of Election Commissioners for additional information.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2 to 3 hours. New workers also must complete a shift of Early Voting with an experienced poll worker for training purposes. High school student volunteers must attend an additional training.
