Poll Worker Start Time:

Compensation:
$11 per hour starting pay for Election Day and Early Voting. $25 for attending training session, up to 2.5 hours, $10 per hour after that. Poll workers who pick up supplies and deliver election results receive an additional $25. $10.50 per hour for precinct set up. $10 per hour for absentee workers.

  • You must be registered to vote in Faulkner County to be a poll worker

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on position.

Additional Information

Each poll worker is required to work at least one day of Early Voting prior to Election Day.

Early Voting workers work from approximately 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM for shifts Monday through Friday. Saturday shifts are from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
