Voter Registration Requirements

  • You must be registered to vote in Winston County to be a poll worker

  • Note: This voter registration requirement does not apply to poll workers under the age of 18.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 16-year-old high school juniors/seniors who are residents of the county or municipality for which the appointment is made.

  • You must complete training to be a poll worker.

  • Training Details: In-person training typically lasts 1.5 hours.

High school juniors and seniors who are at least 16 years of age at the time of the election are able to work as unpaid poll worker interns.
